What a weekend in Geneva!! 10 LMSS Opti Racers competed in Green, Red, White, and Blue fleets. In total, 63 Optis were in attendance. Wind was high, and so was morale! All of our sailors have put in the time and effort this fall in practice, and their hard work paid off with a successful completion of a windy regatta weekend!

LMSS sailors had a triumphant weekend: Jude Kolpashchikov-Clark placed 11th overall in the Opti Championship fleet and earned a spot at the 2025 USODA Team Trials next spring. Congratulations to Carson Ostbye for placing 2nd in White Fleet and to Bea Travanti for placing 2nd in Girls! And a special shout-out to Lily Olson and Crosby Hirschmann, who did a GREAT job in their first-ever regatta! Additional LMSS sailors were Olly Bower, George Howard, Lucas McGary, Michael Sparber, and Brody Aalderks. Great work, sailors!⛵️

Sailors, families, and coaches had a blast and are looking forward to future Opti events this winter. Thank you, Geneva Lake Sailing School, for hosting an exciting regatta weekend!
