Adult Social Sailing
For LMSS adults to learn the fundamentals of sailing
Join together with other adults interested in sailing and head out on the water! This is a great way to get out on the water with all adult sailors and learn the basics of sailing or go even further and get some racing experience under your belt. No experience required.
- Taught in 23′ Sonar Keelboats, 4 – 5 sailors per boat
- Curriculum includes understanding points of sail, and sailing upwind and downwind through discussion, diagrams, and participation
- The class will be split into two groups on the first day: a learn to sail group and a learn to race/racing group
- Class size is limited to 20 sailors per session
