Our evening Learn to Sail classes are focused on fun and learning, with curriculum appropriate for both novice and more experienced recreational sailors. Students are split into two age groups, with equipment and instruction tailored to each group. We focus on sailing fundamentals as well as the basics of racing including upwind and downwind sailing, sail trim, knot tying, and sailing terminology, starting, mark rounding, rules, and strategy. With these skills, sailors will be taught the basics needed to join the middle or high school teams.
