LMSS Olympics — Country Color Day

LMSS OLYMPICS DAY 3 — COUNTRY COLOR DAY!🇧🇷🇮🇳🇦🇺🇨🇦🇿🇦🇫🇷

This week, LMSS Sailors, from Pram Campers to 420 Racers (so ages 7-18!), have joined together on six teams to compete in a series of daily events for the Gold🥇, Silver🥈, and Bronze🥉. On Monday afternoon, sailors and staff participated in an Olympic Opening Ceremony, with Senior Coach Gordy Bowers (former USA Olympic Sailing Coach) raising the Olympic flag, and Race Director, Samuel Bartel, raising the American flag. Sailors participated in the National Anthem before dividing into their randomly assigned country teams for the first event of the week: an intense swim relay from the dock on the front of the island to a bouy placed 25m away. Keep reading to check out the results from the events this week (July 29-August 2).
